The Sun Ballast Connect system is a revolutionary mounting and support system for photovoltaic modules. It consists of interconnected concrete ballast elements: a front, a middle and a rear element that terminate the rows of panels.
The connection between the rows of photovoltaic panels is made via the ballasts, connecting and integrating all the rows. The result is a network of ballasts and panels that is extremely easy and quick to install. Thanks to this structure, the system is particularly wind-resistant and places minimal load on the roof, with a maximum total load of 20-25 kg/sqm, including the weight of the panels. In addition, this load is evenly distributed over the roof deck.

Ballast 0°.K
Sun Ballast 0 ° structure is an optimal solution when there are situations such as: limited floor load, limited spaces and landscape constraints. This specific solution achieves the goal of placing more panels in less space without it being visible from the outside. There is also a raised version in case you need to stand higher than the surface.
BALLAST 3°.K
Sun Ballast 3 ° .K can be used for both single row installations and east-west orientations.
The low inclination makes it possible to make installations that are not visible from the outside in cases where there are landscape constraints. It is also particularly suitable when there are load limits on the roof thanks to its limited weight.

BALLAST ANGLE 5° SAIL-SHAPED SYSTEM
Sun Ballast 5° Sail system has been designed to take advantage of all the available coverage surface by optimizing the construction of the photovoltaic system.
This system allows to recover the area usually left for shading between the rows. With the same space you can get to install about 20% more modules compared to a traditional system. Also used in shorter sails or single rows allow you to raise the front of the plant up to 60 cm from the floor, reducing exposure to shadows given by any other structures present (railings, fireplaces, etc.). It is possible to place the panels both horizontally and vertically
Connect System
Sun Ballast Connect system creates a grid composed of ballast and photovoltaic modules linked together, making the rows integral with each other. This guarantees a high wind resistance as confirmed by the meticulous tests with fluid dynamics simulators and structural yield stress, achieving excellent wind resistance results. All this in the face of weight kg/ sqm reduced. As a whole, the ballast plus modules, brings a load in coverage of about 15-20 kg/ sqm. Connect system is suitable for any type of framed module which can be laid horizontally with an inclination of 5 °, 10 °, 15 °, 20 ° and 30 °. In addition, for the 10 ° angle inclination, the solution for laying the photovoltaic modules vertically is also available.
BALLAST 10°.L
10° L ballast of Sun Ballast line allows an inclination of 10° and has a weight of 70 Kg. It allows the vertical installation of panels from 72 cells. It copes with the trend of using panels with ever larger dimensions. For this reason, we have realized a 10° inclined ballast which has a longer length than the others, allowing you to comply with the mounting requirements established by the different manufacturers of modules with consequent protection of the warranty of the panels.
BALLAST 10°
With 10° ballast of the Sun Ballast line, wind loads resistance of more than 150 km/h are achieved, as demonstrated by the tests carried out in the wind tunnel, which means reduced loads (Kg/m2) in coverage. Its weight of 60 kg allows you to fix the photovoltaic panels without risk, which means simplicity and speed of installation, saving time for the construction of a plant.
BALLAST ANGLE 11° SAIL-SHAPED SYSTEM
The 11°.3 Ballast fixing system in the Sun Ballast line is made from unreinforced concrete triangles that allow a tilt angle of 11°. It has XC4 exposure class, as well as a strength class of C32/40.
BALLAST 15°
15° ballast is perfect for any type of surface and is also very suitable for ground photovoltaic systems construction. Thanks to its structure and its weight it allows it to be positioned on previously prepared soil so as not to have many differences in height. The photovoltaic panels can be installed both vertically and horizontally thanks to its versatility due to the fact that the ballast must not be fixed but only supported.
BALLAST 20°
20° Ballast is one of the most used when high inclinations are preferred to maximize the production of photovoltaic systems. It can be installed on all types of surfaces: green roof, sheath, concrete or pavement, ground, etc. thanks to the fact that it must not be fixed and thanks to its weight guarantees a strong wind resistance. An excellent choice in cases the inclination must be high but the plant is located in a very windy area.
BALLAST 30°.1
30°.1 Ballast is used for high inclined photovoltaic systems allowing at the same time a strong wind resistance. Particularly suitable for ground installations thanks to its size and weight, photovoltaic panels can be installed both vertically and horizontally. The ballast is pre-drilled and equipped with M8 bushings already embedded in the concrete, to speed up the fixing of the panels through the brackets provided.
5° SAIL SHAPED CONNECT SYSTEM
The Connect system with 5 ° inclined sail allows you to lay two consecutive rows of photovoltaic panels horizontally.
